2.3.24. Check of the directing plugs of valves

Procedure for test
Insert the valve into a guide. The end of a rod of the valve has to come to the end with a guide. Because of various diameter of a core use the inlet valve only in the directing plug of the inlet valve and the final valve in the directing plug of the final valve.
Define the overturning gap.

Limit admission
Guide of the inlet valve – 0,80 mm.
Guide of the final valve – 0,80 mm.

NOTE
If admissible value is exceeded, repeat measurement with new valves. If with new valves the limit admission is also exceeded, it is necessary to replace a head of the block of cylinders.
If the valve at repair is replaced, then at measurements it is necessary to use the new valve.
