2.3.23. Replacement of oil scraper caps (at the established head of the block of cylinders)

Remove camshafts.

NOTE
To replace oil scraper caps of final valves of cylinders 3 and 4, in addition it is necessary to remove the valve of recirculation of OG.

Take roller levers and put them on a pure surface. Do not interchange the position of roller levers.
Unscrew spark plugs a candle key.

Fasten the directing plate for engines of 2,0 l and 3,0 l FSI screws with a corrugation, as shown in the drawing, to GBTs (fig. 2.168).
Bring the piston of the corresponding cylinder into "the lower dead point".
Twist the adapter in a nest of a spark plug and to connect compressed air under pressure of not less than 6 bars.

Separate strong sitting crackers of valves by means of a mandrel and the plastic hammer (fig. 2.169).

Twist adaptation with a suspended fork in the directing plate for engines of 2,0 l and 3,0 l of FSI (fig. 2.170).
Insert an adjusting cartridge into the directing plate for engines of 2,0 l and 3,0 l of FSI.
Suspend a press fork to adaptation.

NOTE
On the party of release the press fork should be suspended, as shown in the figure 2.170.

Press an adjusting cartridge down. At the same time you twist the screw with a nakatka of the adjusting boss to the right until the ends enter valve crackers.

Slightly turn the screw with a nakatka forward and back, at the expense of it crackers of the valve are unclenched and the boss is captured (fig. 2.171).
Release a press fork.
Take an adjusting cartridge.

Remove oil scraper caps by means of a stripper (fig. 2.172).

If because of shortage of the place the stripper for oil scraper caps to a vypressuyta is not possible to use, a pin a drift and remove a nozzle (fig. 2.173).
Put the lower part of a stripper of oil scraper caps to an oil scraper cap.
Insert a drift 1 into an opening in the lower part of a stripper.

Hook adjusting adaptation the lever and take, thus, an oil scraper cap (fig. 2.174).
Installation of oil scraper caps
To avoid damage of new oil scraper caps In, dress the plastic plug A (fig. 2.175) on a valve core.

Grease a working edge of an oil scraper cap In engine oil, insert into the device for a napressovka and accurately press into the directing plug.
Take the plastic plug A.
Insert a spring and a plate of a valve spring.
Install the device for installation, as shown in the figure 2.170.

NOTE
After extraction of crackers of the valve from the adjusting boss at first they need to be inserted into adjusting adaptation (fig. 2.176).

Press an adjusting cartridge from above on adjusting adaptation and remove valve crackers.
Press an adjusting cartridge by means of a press fork down and twist the screw with a nakatka adjusting the boss back and forth, at the same time to extend it up.
Unload a press fork at the extended screw with a knurled head.
Remove the device for installation.
Further installation and assembly is carried out in the return to sequence removal.
