2.3.12. Removal and installation of an asterisk

Removal

Remove a crankshaft asterisk a stripper 2 (for example, Kukko 44-1), at the same time protect the end of a shaft a persistent plate (fig. 2.131).

Installation
Installation is carried out in the return sequence,
Heat an asterisk in an oven within 15 min. to 220 °C.

NOTE
Adjusting situation: the wide zaplechik of an asterisk is turned to the engine.

Establish an asterisk on an end face of a shaft and put on by means of the press plug against the stop the crankshaft (fig. 2.132).
