2.6.8. Removal and installation of a fuel stage (Rail)

After replacement of a fuel stage it is necessary to adjust a potentiometer of the gate of an inlet collector on the engine control unit again.

NOTE The inlet collector has to be removed.

Remove all hoses of an absorber with absorbent carbon.

Open a hose collar 1.

Unscrew both screws from a fuel stage.

Disconnect hose connection 1 from an inlet collector and unscrew both screws (fig. 2.236).

Turn off both fuel-supply lines 2 and 3.

Carefully lift draft of the engine of the gate of an inlet collector of 4 (fig. 2.237).

Unscrew the engine of the gate of an inlet collector of 5 (fig. 2.237).

Lift a toplivoraspredelitelny tube over the fixing ledges of an inlet collector.

Remove the fuel distributor from an inlet collector.

Installation is carried out in the return sequence.

Establish an inlet collector.
