1.6.26. Glow lamps

Replacement of glow lamps demands a certain qualification.

On the car some glow lamps of external lighting can be changed independently. Treat such lamps:

– lamp of passing beam (halogen);

– lamp of driving beam;

– all glow lamps in back lamps.

The following glow lamps have to change only at the specialized enterprise:

– xenon light of a head headlight;

– lamp of the index of turn (lamp "Longlife);

– lamp of a parking lamp;

– glow lamp of a fog light;

– indexes of turn on a wing.

NOTE Glow lamps are allowed to be changed only for same. Marking is on a lamp socle.

ATTENTION Glow lamps are under pressure and when replacing can burst. The unqualified address with a high-voltage part of gas-discharge lamps (xenon light) is life-threatening. Before replacement of the glow lamp switch off light / parking fires.

NOTE Regularly check serviceability of all lighting devices of the car and first of all external lighting. Do not concern barehanded a glass flask of a lamp. Use for this purpose fabric or paper since the left fingerprint owing to heating of the switched-on glow lamp will evaporate, be condensed on the reflecting surface and to worsen the reflecting ability of a reflector.

For access to glow lamps of a right headlight it is necessary to dismantle an air inlet.

Unscrew screws A (fig. 1.179).

Pull an air inlet from a guide In and remove.

After replacement of glow lamps of a right headlight it is necessary establish an air inlet into place.

Establish an air inlet in assembly situation.

In the beginning tighten both screws But only slightly, and then tighten them strongly.

Establish an air inlet in a guide of Century.

Replacement of lamps on the party of the driver and forward passenger is carried out in the identical sequence.

The description of process below of replacement of a lamp of passing beam of the main headlight belongs to the party of the driver. Replacement of a lamp of the main headlight of the party of the forward passenger is carried out (after dismantle of an air inlet respectively.

Switch off ignition and light.

Open a cowl.

On the back end of a cover of the case press the unlocking uvula (fig. 1.180) down and uncover.

Press a lamp for the plastic plug down and take the plug with a lamp from the headlight case.

Separate the plastic plug from a lamp socle.

Installation of a lamp is facilitated if at the same time to look through headlight glass.

Insert the new glow lamp into the plastic plug and press against the stop a metal socle of a lamp in the plastic plug (fig. 1.181).

Insert a lamp a ledge up into the headlight case.

In the beginning install a lamp in the lamp case below And.

Track that the ledge In specified on the center up and entered a guide as shown in the figure 1.181.

Observe in front through glass of the main headlight and control installation of a lamp.

Raise the plastic plug in the direction of an arrow so far the lamp will not be recorded in the holder. If it is impossible at once, correct the provision of a lamp.

By means of a cover of the case check the correct provision of consolidation.

Establish a case cover below in clamps and press the top party to the main headlight until above there is a fixing of the locking uvula.

Check function new lamas пы an incandescence.

As soon as possible check installation of provision of a headlight.

Replacement of lamps on the party of the driver and forward passenger is carried out in the identical sequence.

The description of process below of replacement of a lamp of driving beam of the main headlight belongs to the party of the driver. Replacement of a lamp of the main headlight of the party of the forward passenger (after dismantle of an air inlet it is carried out respectively.

Switch off ignition and light.

Open a cowl.

Take away a steel bracket of a cover of the case in the direction of an arrow and uncover the case (fig. 1.182).

Press the plastic plug of a lamp down and take the plug with a lamp from the headlight case.

Separate the plastic plug from a lamp socle.

The directing plate ledge of a lamp at installation has to enter the corresponding nest of the case of a lamp.

Insert the new glow lamp into the plastic plug and press against the stop a metal socle of a lamp in the plastic plug (fig. 1.183).

Insert a lamp a ledge up into the headlight case.

In the beginning install a lamp in the lamp case below in situation A.

Track that the ledge In specified on the center up and entered a guide as shown in the figure 1.183.

Raise the plastic plug in the direction of an arrow so far the lamp will not be recorded in the holder. If it is impossible at once, correct the provision of a lamp.

By means of a cover of the case check the correct provision of consolidation.

Establish a cover of the case and record a steel bracket in fixing points.

Check function of the new glow lamp.

As soon as possible check installation of provision of a headlight.

For replacement of lamps it is necessary to dismantle a back lamp.

For fastening of a back lamp the special conical (prizonny) bolt is used. On the last turns of process of a vvorachivaniye of this bolt the bigger effort is required.

Define the faulty glow lamp.

Open a luggage carrier.

Take the screw-driver from a tool set.

Use the flat party of a perestavny core of the screw-driver.

Before dismantle check durability of location of a back lamp (it is necessary for control after installation).

Install the screw-driver in a groove and separate a cover of 1 (fig. 1.184).

Unscrew the screw-driver the screw 2 (shooter) located under a cover.

Alternately pull a lamp in the direction of arrows 1 and 2 until the lamp is released from a support (position 3 and 4).

Dismantle a lamp arm.

ATTENTION At dismantle of a back lamp care is required to avoid damages of details / a paint and varnish covering.

NOTE You hold near at hand soft fabric that when laying not to scratch glass of a back lamp.

Dismantle of a lamp arm is necessary for replacement of glow lamps.

On inside of a back lamp two fixing earrings are located.

Deblock fixing earrings A (fig. 1.185).

Remove a lamp arm in the direction of an arrow B.

Replace the faulty glow lamp.

The lamp arm allows conveniently change all lamps.

Lamps fasten by means of the bayonetny castle device.

Slightly press a lamp into a lamp arm, then turn a lamp to the left and take a faulty lamp.

Establish a new lamp, press it into a cartridge and turn against the stop to the right.

Remove with fabric fingerprints from a glass surface of lamps.

Check function of glow lamps.

Establish into place a lamp arm

The lamp arm is easily mounted.

Check the correct arrangement of consolidation of a lamp arm.

Establish a lamp arm on a back lamp and level it that it densely adjoined to a lamp.

Press a lamp arm in a back lamp until fixing.

Establish into place a back lamp

The back lamp easily gives in to installation.

In the beginning bring a back lamp 1 to an arm of a back lamp (fig. 1.187).

Slightly press a back lamp to an arm of a back lamp, observing the sequence 2 and 3 until clips strongly are recorded in rubber support.

Slightly press the top part of a back lamp and fix it by the screw from a luggage carrier 1. On the last turns of process of a vvorachivaniye of this screw the bigger effort is required.

Check durability of provision of a back lamp, its feats in the parties.

Establish into place and record a cover 2 internal facings.

Lay the screw-driver in a tool set.

Make sure of serviceability of all back glow lamps.

The trunk lid has to be open for replacement of glow lamps.

Access to a lamp arm of an internal back lamp opens from the inside of a trunk lid.

Define a faulty lamp.

Take the screw-driver from a tool set.

Install the screw-driver from above in a groove of a cover and Smith a cover (fig. 1.188).

Wring out earrings A outside, pull and remove a lamp arm in the direction of an arrow B.

Replace glow lamps.

The lamp arm allows conveniently change all lamps.

Lamps fasten by means of the bayonetny castle device.

Slightly press a lamp into a lamp arm, then turn a lamp to the left and take a faulty lamp.
