1.6.16. Removable traction coupling device

The removable spherical head of the traction coupling device is under a luggage carrier flooring.

For installation and dismantle of a spherical head enough normal muscular efforts of hands.

ATTENTION Never use for installation/dismantle of the traction coupling device supportive applications or tools Otherwise it is possible to damage the lock mechanism. As a result reliable operation of the traction coupling device – danger of accident will not be guaranteed

NOTE He is allowed modification of a design of a spherical head and other components of the traction coupling device, and also their repair. At emergence of difficulties in use, etc. address on the specialized enterprise. Before each trip check correctness of fixing of a spherical head. Never deblock a spherical head at the attached trailer or the completing components (for example, an arm for the bicycle). At the movement without trailer remove a spherical head and check correctness of closing by a cover of a fixing nest. Under a bumper completely open a cover of a fixing nest (fig. 1.158). The cover is automatically fixed in this situation.

Check probability of pollution of a fixing nest and if necessary clean it.

ATTENTION Surely remove pollution. Otherwise there is no guarantee that the spherical head will be reliably fixed in a fixing nest.

The spherical head has to be pure and without damages.

Check probability of pollution and damage of a clamp And, the uncoupling finger In, cases of a spherical head in the place of contact with a fixing pipe C, and also a makhovichka of D (fig. 1.159).

The spherical head has to be mounted with a preliminary tightness.

The preliminary tightness is provided with performance of the following conditions:

– the red tag And a makhovichka is in a zone of black marking of the case of a spherical head (fig. 1.160);

– the clamp With is drowned in an opening of the case of a spherical head.

Makhovichok has to is at a certain distance from the case of a spherical head so between a makhovichok and the case of a spherical head there is a Page gap.

The spherical head can be mounted only with a preliminary tightness.

Insert into the lock a makhovichka a key 1 and turn it in the direction of a red tag (fig. 1.161).

Pull a makhovichok in the direction of an arrow A and turn it then in the extended situation in the direction of an arrow B, until fixing of a clamp 2 and a visible vydviganiye of the uncoupling finger 3.

Establish a spherical head with a tightness in a fixing nest and wring out up in the direction (fig. 1.162) specified by an arrow. Process of fixing is carried out automatically. At the same time the click has to be distinctly heard.

Lock a spherical head turn of a key in the direction of a green tag.

Take a key.

ATTENTION Operation of a spherical head is not allowed if its tightness according to the aforesaid is not provided. Address on the specialized enterprise. At installation of a hand there should not be in a zone a makhovichka and covers of the traction coupling device.

The green tag And makhovichka is in a zone of black marking of the case of a spherical head (fig. 1.163).

Makhovichok adjoins to the case of a spherical head. As a result between a makhovichok and the case of a spherical head there is no gap.

The spherical head is locked and the key is taken (the makhovichok is not extended).

The spherical head reliably sits in a fixing nest (check, feats her hand).

For connection of a cable of the trailer to the car take away down the direction of an arrow the plug socket of the car (fig. 1.164) located under a bumper.

At non-performance of above-mentioned conditions repeat installation.

ATTENTION Even at non-performance of one of conditions there is a danger of accident and operation of the traction coupling device is not allowed. In this case address on the specialized enterprise.

Unlock a spherical head (turn a key to red marking).

Strong hold the case of a spherical head and pull a makhovichok in the direction A specified by an arrow.

Turn a makhovichok in the extended situation against the stop in the direction of an arrow B.

Release a makhovichok. It is fixed independently with a tightness.

Take a spherical head from a fixing nest down. At the same time the fixing nest is automatically closed by a cover

Lay a spherical head under a luggage carrier flooring. Take away the socket up.

ATTENTION Check correctness of closing by a cover of a fixing nest of the traction coupling device. Otherwise, owing to pollution, there is a probability that the spherical head will reliably not be fixed in a fixing nest.

Four points of fastening And the traction coupling device are from the lower party of the car (fig. 1.165). The distance of the corresponding fixing components from the left and right side of the car makes 1002 mm. The minimum distance In between a bumper and a spherical head has to makes 74 mm. The distance With between the back bridge and a spherical head has to makes 1076 mm.

ATTENTION The postfactory complete set of the car the traction coupling device is recommended to be carried out at the specialized enterprise. Unqualified installation is fraught with danger of accident.
