2.9.9. Removal and installation of chains of the drive of camshafts

Removal
Put the device for pumping of oil under the engine and merge engine oil.
Remove the engine.
Disconnect the engine from the transmission.
Leave the engine on a lifting table or fix it at the adjusting stand.
Uncover drive chains.
Establish behind on a bent shaft a key, for example with 2 old bolts for a two-mass flywheel.

Turn a bent shaft in the direction of rotation of the engine to VMT of the moment of ignition (fig. 2.435).

Forward vents have to be in camshafts parallel to the upper edge of GBTs and flush with it (fig. 2.436).
If necessary turn a cam-shaft for a hexagon for installation of a clamp of a cam-shaft to the left and to the right.

If the clamp of a cam-shaft is not established, turn the crankshaft on 1 turn (360 °) (fig. 2.437).
Again remove a clamp of cam-shafts.

Unscrew the fixing bolt from the top part of the oil pallet (fig. 2.438).
Screw the fixing bolt in an opening (the moment of 20 N · м). For full centering of a bolt if necessary turn the crankshaft a little to the left and to the right.

Press a level of an uspokoitel of a natyazhitel of a chain of the left drive in the direction of an arrow and by means of a drill with a diameter of 3,3 mm of poses. To 1 zastoporta natyazhitel of a chain (fig. 2.439).
Designate paint the direction of the movement of a chain of the drive at the left.

Turn out bolts 1 and 2 asterisks of a cam-shaft or the regulator of phases of gas distribution by means of a nozzle (fig. 2.440).
Remove a camshaft asterisk, the regulator of phases of gas distribution and a chain of the drive.

Press on an uspokoitel of a natyazhitel of a chain of the right drive in the direction of an arrow and by means of a drill with a diameter of 3,3 mm of poses. To 1 zastoporta natyazhitel of a chain (fig. 2.441)
Designate paint the direction of the movement of a chain of the drive on the right.

Turn out bolts 1 and 2 asterisks of a cam-shaft or the regulator of phases of gas distribution by means of a nozzle (fig. 2.442)
Remove a camshaft asterisk, the regulator of phases of gas distribution and a chain of the drive.

Installation
The bent shaft is recorded in the provision of VMT by means of a bolt clamp.

NOTE
Replace the bolts / screws tightened on a certain corner, and also sealing rings, manzhetny consolidations and laying.

When scrolling the camshaft the kolechaty shaft in one of cylinders should not be in VMT. There is a danger of damage of the valves / bottom of the piston.

Reliably connect internal and external parts of both regulators of phases of gas distribution (fig. 2.443)
In the recorded situation internal and external parts should not be turned relatively each other (but the small gap is groped).
Check whether there are camshafts of both blocks of cylinders in the provision of VMT.
Forward vents have to be in camshafts parallel to the upper edge of GBTs and flush with it (fig. 2.436).
Establish a cam-shaft clamp in cam-shafts of the left GBTs, if necessary having turned shaft for a hexagon (fig. 2.437) to the left and to the right.
Establish a cam-shaft clamp in cam-shafts of the right GBTs, if necessary having turned shaft for a hexagon to the left and to the right.
Replace all 4 bolts of cam-shafts.
Replace a washer with a diamond covering being between cam-shafts and the regulator of phases of gas distribution of the left GBTs.
Establish the left chain of the drive together with an asterisk and the regulator of phases of gas distribution.
To wrap bolts 1 and 2 not until the end of (fig. 2.440).
The asterisk and the regulator of phases of gas distribution have to be turned on a cam-shaft by hand and should not fall down.
Replace a washer with a diamond covering being between a cam-shaft and the regulator of phases of gas distribution of the right GBTs.
Establish the right chain of the drive together with an asterisk and the regulator of phases of gas distribution.
To wrap bolts 1 and 2 not until the end of (fig. 2.442).
The asterisk and the regulator of phases of gas distribution have to be turned on a cam-shaft by hand and should not fall down.
Remove the fixing bolt of the crankshaft (fig. 2.438).
Turn the crankshaft by means of a key on 30 ° against the direction of rotation of the engine (fig. 2.435).
Take out a drill from an opening. Thereof the left natyazhitel of a chain is released.
Establish a wedge, as shown in the figure 2.444, and insert into system a natyazhitel of a chain by means of a wedge.
Easy pressing with shift прибл is allowed. on 0,5 mm.
Take out a drill from an opening. Thereof the right natyazhitel of a chain is released.
Establish a wedge, as shown in the figure 2.445, and insert into system a natyazhitel of a chain by means of a wedge.
Easy pressing with shift прибл is allowed. on 0,5 mm.
By means of a key turn a bent shaft in the direction of rotation of the engine to VMT of the moment of ignition (fig. 2.435).

NOTE
If by mistake the crankshaft slipped the provision of VMT., it is necessary to return it back approximately on 30 ° and again to bring to VMT.

Screw the fixing bolt in an opening (the moment of 20 N · м). For full centering of a bolt if necessary turn the crankshaft (fig. 2.438) a little to the left and to the right.

Previously tighten a bolt of 1 cam-shaft of final valves of the left GBTs (fig. 2.444).
Inhaling moment: 40 N · m.

Record a rotor of the sensor of Hall on the regulator of phases of gas distribution of a cam-shaft of inlet valves of the left GBTs by means of supportive application for adjustment (fig. 2.446)
Establish supportive application for adjustment on a bolt 1.
Previously tighten a bolt 2 cam-shafts of inlet valves.
Inhaling moment: 40 N · m.

Record a rotor of the sensor of Hall on the regulator of phases of gas distribution of a cam-shaft of inlet valves of the right GBTs by means of supportive application for adjustment (fig. 2.447)
Establish supportive application for adjustment on a bolt 2.
Previously tighten a bolt of 1 cam-shaft of inlet valves.
Inhaling moment: 40 N · m.
Remove the auxiliary device for adjustment.

Previously tighten a bolt 2 cam-shafts of final valves of the right GBTs (fig. 2.445).
Inhaling moment: 40 N · m.

NOTE
Clamps of cam-shafts cannot be used as a support at a final inhaling of bolts of cam-shafts.

Remove stoppers of cam-shafts from both heads of the block of cylinders (fig. 2.437).
Finally tighten a bolt of 1 cam-shaft of final valves of the left GBTs (fig. 2.444).
Inhaling moment: 100 N · + to tighten m on 90 ° (1/4 about.)
Record a rotor of the sensor of Hall on the regulator of phases of gas distribution of a cam-shaft of inlet valves of the left GBTs by means of supportive application for adjustment (fig. 2.446).
Establish supportive application for adjustment on a bolt 1.
Finally tighten a bolt 2 cam-shafts of inlet valves.
Inhaling moment: 100 N · + to tighten m on 90 ° (1/4 about.)
Record a rotor of the sensor of Hall on the regulator of phases of gas distribution of a cam-shaft of inlet valves of the right GBTs by means of supportive application for adjustment (fig. 2.447).
Establish supportive application for adjustment on a bolt 2.
Finally tighten a bolt of 1 cam-shaft of inlet valves.
Inhaling moment: 100 N · + to tighten m on 90 ° (1/4 about.)
Remove the auxiliary device for adjustment.
Finally tighten a bolt 2 cam-shafts of final valves of the right GBTs (fig. 2.445).
Inhaling moment: 100 N · + to tighten m on 90 ° (1/4 about.)
Remove the fixing bolt of the crankshaft (fig. 2.438).
Turn the crankshaft by means of a key on 2 turns in the direction of rotation of the engine for return of the crankshaft to VMT (fig. 2.435).
Forward vents have to be in camshafts parallel to the upper edge of GBTs and flush with it (fig. 2.436).
Screw the fixing bolt in an opening (the moment of 20 N · м). For full centering of a bolt if necessary turn the crankshaft (fig. 2.438) a little to the left and to the right.
Insert a cam-shaft clamp into cam-shafts of the left GBTs (fig. 2.437).
Insert a cam-shaft clamp into cam-shafts of the right GBTs.
Clamps of cam-shafts are not established:
Repeat adjustment.
Take out a wedge.
Remove a cam-shaft stopper from both heads of the block of cylinders.
Remove the fixing crankshaft bolt.
Screw a carving stopper of mark VMT with a new cuff in the top part of the oil pallet.
Further installation is carried out in the return sequence.
Establish covers of chains of the drive.
Install the engine.
Fill in engine oil and check its level.

Inhaling moments
Bolts распредвалов*: 100 N · m +90 ° **
Carving stopper to the oil pallet: 35 N · m.
Carving stopper of a masloslivny opening: 50 N · m.
* Replace bolts.
** 90 ° correspond to one quarter of a whole revolution.
