NOTE
For performance of adjusting works fix the engine on a clamp for the engine and the check point.

NOTE
On cars from the automatic transmission the conducted clutch plate is fastened to a bent shaft with the aligning washer.

Clear landing surfaces; on them there should not be an oil and lubricant neither from above, nor from below.

Apply sealant rollers on pure landing surfaces of a frame of a cam-shaft, as shown in the figure 2.369.
The flute of a landing surface has to be filled with sealant.
Rollers of sealant have to act over a landing surface on 1,5–2,0 mm.
Establish sealing rings 1–3.
Check whether centering plugs 4-7 on the places in a cam-shaft frame, as shown in the figure 2.369 are installed.

Replace bolts 1–16.
Establish long bolts of an internal number of a frame of a cam-shaft.
Twirl cam-shaft frame bolts as follows:
1. Tighten bolts 1–16 dynamometer key with the moment of an inhaling of 50 N · m;
2. To tighten bolts 1–16 usual key on 90 ° (1/4 about.);
3. Bolts of landing surfaces of the block of cylinders / frame of a cam-shaft – in the drawing are represented by dark – to tighten cross-wise with the moment 23 N · m.
Accessory of inserts of the radical bearings installed in the block of cylinders
At the plant in the block of cylinders inserts of bearings of the correct thickness (fig. 2.371) are established.
For marking of thickness of inserts of bearings color points on a bearing insert serve.
Belonging of inserts of bearings to the block of cylinders is noted near the corresponding bearing a letter.
Up to engines with numbers AUK 028 000 and BKH 033 000:
On engines with numbers to AUK 028 000 and BKH 033 000 to color marking of an insert of the bearing 1 (forward) there correspond other alphabetic references on a cam-shaft frame.

Accessory of inserts of bearings of a frame of a cam-shaft
At the plant in a frame of a cam-shaft inserts of bearings of the correct thickness are established. For marking of thickness of inserts of bearings color points on a bearing insert serve.
Belonging of inserts of bearings to a frame of a cam-shaft is noted on a crankshaft flywheel flange by a number of letters. For the 1 bearing the first letter among, is intended for the 2 bearing – the second, etc.

On engines with numbers to AUK 028 000 and BKH 033 000 to color marking of an insert of the bearing 1 (forward) there correspond other alphabetic references on the crankshaft.

Check of axial shift
Tighten the indicator of hour type by means of a universal arm to GBTs and put it to a cheek of a bent shaft.
Press the crankshaft by hand to a micrometer, establish a micrometer on 0.
Wring out the crankshaft from a micrometer and consider its indications.
Axial shift: 0,209–0,251 mm.
Check of a radial beating
It is necessary to replace inserts of bearings at wear to a nickel layer.
NOTE
Do not interchange the position of the operated bearings.

Remove a frame of a cam-shaft and clear radical necks.
Put Plastigage thread according to bearing width on a neck and in inserts of bearings.
Plastigage thread has to lay down in the middle of a bearing insert.
Put a frame of cam-shafts and fasten with the moment 30 N · m. Do not turn the crankshaft.
Again remove a frame of cam-shafts.
Compare Plastigage thread width to a scale.
Radial beating: 0,010–0,039 mm.
Limit admission of a radial beating: 0,08 mm.
