2.10.3. Removal and installation of a poliklinovy belt

In cars with an additional heater unscrew bolts of an exhaust pipe of an independent / additional heater from the noise-insulating screen (fig. 2.44).

Weaken clips 1–3 and remove forward and back noise-insulating screens (fig. 2.45).

Remove a casing of the engine (fig. 2.474).

Unscrew bolts.

Remove an air duct of 1 and 2 (fig. 2.2).

Remove a sealant of a motor compartment on a radiator frame.

Remove the top part of the protection cover, having released the fixing brackets (fig. 2.475).

NOTE Before removal of a poliklinovy belt mark the direction of the course with chalk or a felt-tip pen. Change of the direction of the course of earlier operated belt can lead to its damage

For weakening of a tension of a poliklinovy belt turn a tension element in the direction of an arrow and record it by means of a mandrel (fig. 2.476).

Take off poliklinovy a belt.

Install components in the return sequence.

Lay poliklinovy a belt on pulleys (fig. 2.477).

Holding a tension element a wrench, take a stopper and weaken a tension element.

Check correctness of laying of a poliklinovy belt.

Start the engine and check the belt course.
