4.3.2. Wheel support loading own mass of the car

NOTE
All bolts of details with saylent-blocks have to be finally tightened at installation of a suspension bracket in the situation corresponding to the equipped mass of the car (the car is not loaded).
Rubber-metal hinges (saylent-blocks) have the limited working range of twisting.
Therefore the suspension bracket has to reach the position corresponding to the equipped mass of the car (the car is not loaded).
Otherwise in the saylent-block there will be internal tension which will lead to reduction of service life of this detail.
Due to raising of a suspension bracket of the corresponding wheel by means of a rack for the engine and the transmission and the pallet it is possible to imitate this situation on the elevator.

Fig. 4.46. Measurement of loading mass of the car

Before works measure, for example, by means of a roulette, the size a from the middle of a nave of a wheel to bottom edge of a wing (fig. 4.46).
Measurement has to is taken on the car having the equipped weight (the car is not loaded).
Write down the received value. It will be necessary for a final inhaling of bolts and nuts.
Before raising a suspension bracket of the corresponding wheel, the car needs to be attached to elevator arms by means of tension belts.
Otherwise, it can slide off the elevator.
Turn a nave so that one of openings under a wheel bolt was above.
Attach a support by means of a wheel bolt to a wheel nave.

Fig. 4.47. Wheel bearing case raising

Lift the wheel bearing case by means of a rack for the engine and the transmission until the size (fig. 4.47) is reached.
You make a final inhaling of the corresponding bolts / nuts only on reaching the size a measured before works between the middle of a nave of a wheel and bottom edge of a wing

ATTENTION
It is forbidden to lift or lower the car when the jack for engines and units of transmission is under the car.
The rack for the engine and the transmission has to remain under the car not longer, than it is required for performance of work.

Finally tighten the corresponding bolts / nuts.
Lower the case of the stupichny bearing.
Remove a jack for engines and units of transmission from under the car.
Remove basic fastening.
