8.2.3. Adjustment of a forward door

NOTE For exact adjustment of a door on height, an inclination and shift use the special tool (fig. 8.59).

NOTE The back door has to be adjusted.

Width of a joint can be checked the special tool 3371.

Size A = 3,5 mm ±0,5 mm.

Size B = 4,5 mm ±0,5 mm.

Adjustment in the longitudinal direction is carried out by weakening of bolts And on a rack And the top and/or lower hinge of a door and movement of a door 2 (thanks to the increased openings in the hinge and a rack And) (fig. 8.60).

Adjustment concerning the center of the car is carried out by weakening of bolts of the hinge B above and/or below and movements of a door (grooves in the hinge) (fig. 8.61).

NOTE On the top and lower hinges of a door it is established on an adjusting bolt with a fillet. Therefore, as a rule, when performing repair adjustment is not required. If nevertheless adjustment is necessary, adjusting bolts with a fillet can be replaced with the bolts of the same size, length and durability offered in the catalog of spare parts.

NOTE In a back part of a door adjustment is carried out by means of a lock bracket (in the direction to the center of the car).

Shift a lock 1 bracket so that the door was established aflush with a contour of a body (fig. 8.62).

NOTE Adjustment is allowed only in the direction to the center of the car, but not on height. Use tags of an arrow B or an arrow D for adjustment on height. At the correct adjustment the bracket of the lock has to enter the door lock on the center.

Tighten screws the moment of 25 N · m.
