The handle of a screen wiper the screen wiper, and also the automatic mode of a screen wiper and windscreen washer joins.

For short inclusion of a screen wiper wring out the handle down in situation 1 (fig. 1.89).

Take away the handle up in the fixed situation.

Regulator A shift up or down duration of intervals of faltering inclusion of a screen wiper changes.

On cars with a rain sensor sensitivity of a sensor of a rain can be changed regulator A shift up or down.

Take away the handle up in the fixed situation 3.

Take away the handle up in the fixed situation 4.

Delay the handle in situation 5.

Release the handle. Windscreen washer is switched off, and brushes work with about 4 more pages.

Install the handle in a starting position 0.

The system of screen wipers and windscreen washers works only at the included ignition.

The sensor of a rain works only in the provision of the faltering mode of a screen wiper. In case of a rain the faltering mode of a screen wiper joins automatically.

Sensitivity of a sensor of a rain decreases regulator A shift down. For increase in sensitivity of a sensor of a rain the regulator should be displaced up. The above sensitivity is established, the before a brush of a screen wiper react to moisture on a windshield. Duration of intervals of the faltering mode along with the established sensitivity depends also on car speed.

At temporary stops, for example, on traffic lights, the speed of work of brushes of a screen wiper automatically decreases. On cars with a rain sensor the faltering mode of a screen wiper automatically joins. Jets of windscreen washer are warmed at the included ignition.

Duration of intervals of the faltering mode depends also on car speed.

At the turned-on light it is necessary for cleaning of a windshield only quickly pull the screen wiper handle. Otherwise at longer procrastination of the handle also the device of cleaning of headlights will turn on that will lead to vain use of the washing liquid in a filling tank of windscreen washer.

ATTENTION Reliable work of brushes of a screen wiper is obligatory for ensuring good visibility and traffic safety. The sensor of a rain performs finally support function and does not exempt the driver from a duty to include the manual mode of a screen wiper according to visibility conditions.

In a frost, before the first inclusion of a screen wiper check whether brushes froze. Otherwise it is possible to damage not only brushes, but also the screen wiper electric motor

In order to avoid inadvertent inclusion of a screen wiper and by that its damages switch off beforehand a screen wiper in washing installation (install the screen wiper handle in situation 0).

NOTE If at the switched-off ignition the handle of a screen wiper is in the provision of the faltering mode, the sensor of a rain joins only at a speed of car more than 6 km/h.

The worn-out or polluted brushes of a screen wiper lead to formation of svily. Malfunction of a sensor of a rain is as a result possible. Regularly control car screen wiper brushes.

At the turned-on light delay the handle in situation 5 (collaboration of a screen wiper and windscreen washer in the automatic mode) and hold the handle in this situation more than 1 with (fig. 1.89).

For cleaning jets of washers of headlights under the pressure of water move forward outside (fig. 1.90).

Regularly, for example when filling, delete from glasses of headlights the dirt which is not giving in to washing off (traces from insects).

For preservation of operability of system in winter conditions clear nests of the washing jets of snow, and also delete ice from there, using for this purpose an aerosol ottaivatel.

Reliable work of brushes of a screen wiper is obligatory for good visibility.

Take away the screen wiper lever from glass.

Displace a brush stopper in the direction of an arrow A (fig. 1.91). At the same time strong hold a brush.

Pull a brush In from a screen wiper lever nest.

Displace a stopper of a new brush back. At the same time the brush nest is visible.

Establish a new brush in the Page screen wiper lever nest.

Displace a brush stopper in the direction of an arrow D. The click of fixing of a stopper on the screen wiper lever has to be heard.

Install the screen wiper lever in a starting position that it adjoined to glass.

ATTENTION At the taken-away levers of a screen wiper of a windshield it is not allowed to include ignition. Otherwise there will be an installation of brushes in parking situation and at the same time brushes will damage a paint and varnish covering of a cowl.

Regularly you clean brushes means for cleaning of glasses to avoid education svily (defects of glass). At strong pollution, for example, the remains of insects, it is recommended to clean brushes a sponge or fabric.

For the reasons of safety change brushes one-two times a year.
