5.2.12. Removal and installation of the pump of the hydraulic booster, cars with the 6-cylinder TDI engine of 2,5 l

Removal
Remove a noise-insulating board.
Remove the shock-absorber.
Bring a radiator frame into service situation.

Fig. 5.36. A cover over an oil tank of the hydraulic booster

If necessary uncover over an oil tank of the hydraulic booster (fig. 5.36)

Removal of a poliklinovy belt
Turn off the fan with the viscous coupling.
2 wrenches on 32 mm are necessary.

Fig. 5.37. Untwisting of the fan with the viscous coupling

For opening by one key hold, and another rotate in the direction of an arrow (fig. 5.37)

Fig. 5.38. Fastening of a cover of a poliklinovy belt

Turn off a cover of a poliklinovy belt (3kh) (fig. 5.38)

NOTE
You watch remote plugs of a cover of a poliklinovy belt.

Before removal of a poliklinovy belt note the direction of rotation. Change of the direction of rotation of the belt which was in the use can lead to its destruction. At installation of a poliklinovy belt you monitor the correct provision on pulleys.
Remove poliklinovy a compressor belt of climatic installation.

Fig. 5.39. Weakening of the screw of a tension roller

Weaken the screw A of a tension roller of a kompreesor climatic ustan and take off poliklinovy a belt (fig. 5.39).
Take off poliklinovy a belt of the pump of the hydraulic booster.

Fig. 5.40. Weakening of a poliklinovy belt

For weakening of a poliklinovy belt turn off a key under an internal hexagon (17) in the direction of an arrow and establish a mandrel with a diameter of 4 mm of poses. 1 (for example, small beards with a thin sting) (fig. 5.40).
Take off a belt.

Untwisting of the compressor of climatic installation
After removal fix the compressor on a longeron, for example, by a wire, do not leave to hang on coolant pipelines.

NOTE
Lines remain connected, it is impossible to bend them.

Fig. 5.41. Fastening of the compressor

At installation of the compressor you watch the correct position of the centering plug B (fig. 5.41).
Remove screws A.

Fig. 5.30. Belt pulley of the pump of the hydraulic booster

Turn off a belt pulley of the pump of the hydraulic booster of steering, for this purpose as a countersupport use a key for two openings (fig. 5.30).

NOTE
For the best display it is shown on the removed engine.

Fig. 5.42. Installation of clips

Clamp the giving and drain hydroline clips for hoses (fig. 5.42).
Substitute the tank for the flowing-down hydraulic oil.
Remove a clip for a hose from the soaking-up pipeline 1.

Fig. 5.43. Removal of the soaking-up line

Remove the soaking-up line and to put aside (fig. 5.43).
Turn off RVD 2.
Close connecting openings caps.

Fig. 5.44. Fastening of the pump

Turn off the pump from fastening (poses. 1 and 2) also take (fig. 5.44).

Installation
At installation pay special attention to the following.
Before installation of the new pump on the party of absorption fill in hydraulic oil and turn by hand that oil came out on the party of a pressure.
Remove oil traces a motor compartment.

Fig. 5.45. Priaruchivaniye of the pump to fastening

Fasten the pump to fastening And in the openings noted In (fig. 5.45).
Install all screws and tighten at first both lobbies, and then both are back.
Install new sealing rings on the hollow screw.
Tighten a hollow bolt of a pressure head hose of 2 (fig. 5.43).
Establish the soaking-up hose 1.
The mark "P" in the soaking-up hose has to be on one line with a seam on the pump.
Remove collars.
Twirl a pulley of the vane pump.

Installation of the compressor of climatic installation
At installation of the compressor you watch the correct position of the centering plug B (fig. 5.41).
Establish poliklinovy a belt of the pump of the hydraulic booster.
At first establish poliklinovy a belt on a crankshaft pulley, by-pass rollers and, in the last turn, on a tension roller.
Take a clamp 1, rotating a key under an internal hexagon in the direction of an arrow (fig. 5.40).
Establish poliklinovy a compressor belt of climatic installation.
To impose poliklinovy a conditioner compressor belt.
Establish a dynamometer natural with an internal hexagon of 8 mm as it is represented in the figure 5.39 and pull poliklinovy a belt, rotating a key in the direction of an arrow with the moment of 7 N · m
Tighten the screw A a dynamometer key.
Establish a cover of a poliklinovy belt (3kh) (fig. 5.38).
Fasten the fan with the viscous coupling.
Establish a radiator frame.
Install the shock-absorber.
Establish a noise-insulating casing.
Check the level of working liquid in hydraulic system.

The assembly provision of the soaking-up hose to an oil tank of the hydraulic booster (for all engines)

Fig. 5.46. Vsasyvyushchy hose

The mark in the soaking-up hose 1 has to be on one line with a seam on an oil tank of the hydraulic booster (fig. 5.46).
