7.5.4. Removal and installation of the control unit of onboard network

If the control unit is replaced, you will choose in the Conducted Search of Malfunctions menu, the Replace Ersetzen/function of the corresponding control unit.

Switch off ignition and pull out the ignition key.

Remove a ware compartment from the driver.

Turn off nuts (arrow) and remove the control unit of onboard network 1 (fig. 7.91).

Unblock blocks of safety locks 1–3.

Unblock a safety bracket of the socket 4 and remove it.

Disconnect sockets 5 and 6 (fig. 7.92).

Establish in the return sequence.

Establish a ware compartment from the driver.

The control unit of onboard network to the central pipe of the forward panel: 2,4 N · m.
