7.5.11. Removal and installation of a box of the main safety lock in a luggage carrier behind at the left – the Audi RS4Removal
Disconnect a weight wire in the accumulator at the switched-off ignition.
Remove the left side upholstery of a luggage carrier.

Release quick disconnect clamps 1 and 3 and open a cover 2 boxes of the main safety lock in a luggage carrier (fig. 7.105).

Turn off nuts of 1, 3, 4 and 6 electric cables (fig. 7.106). Take the pyro of disconnection of the accumulator 2 of the holder.
Turn off nuts (arrow).
Remove a box of the main safety lock in a luggage carrier from an arm.
Installation
Establish in the return sequence.
Remove the left side upholstery of a luggage carrier.
Connect the accumulator.
Inhaling moments
Box of the main safety lock in a luggage carrier to an arm: 3 N · m.
The pyro of disconnection of the accumulator – N253 to the current tire: 9 N · m.
Positive wire to the pyro of disconnection of the accumulator – N253: 15 N · m.
Positive wire to the current tire: 9 N · m.
Block of safety locks: 15 N · m.
