5.1.5. Cars with the 6-cylinder petrol engineUncover a motor compartment.
Separate RVD, holding at the same time for a hexagon of a hose (fig. 5.3).
NOTE
Under the place of separation enclose a rag that on it hydraulic oil dripped.
For convenience it is possible to turn off the holder of the hydraulic line.
|
Fasten a manometer hose on RVD.
Close the locking valve of the manometer (the lever is directed to the left) (fig. 5.4).
NOTE
In order to avoid damage of the pump pay attention to the following: it is impossible to close the locking valve of the manometer at this check more, than on 10 pages.
|
Start the engine, without pressing gas, and leave it to idle.
Read out pressure of the pump on single turns directly after start of the engine (if necessary to involve the second technician).
As during check pressure falls, consider the maximum shown pressure follows.
Start the engine and if necessary add in a tank oil for hydraulic systems.
With a frequency of rotation of idling consider pressure on the manometer (measurement has to continue no more than 10 c).
If the nominal rate is not reached, the vane pump needs to be replaced.
To switch off the engine.
Remove the manometer.
Connect RVD, holding at the same time for a hose hexagon.
Check the level of working liquid in hydraulic system.
