3.4.3. Dismantling and assembly of the pro-minted tripoidny AAR 2600i or 3300i hinge

Fig. 3.118. Components of the pro-minted tripoidny AAR 2600i or 3300i hinge: 1 – collar; 2 – boot of the Tripod hinge; 3 – collar; 4 – lock ring; 5 – dish-shaped spring; 6 – expansion ring (plastic); 7 – lock ring; 8 – The CV JOINT is external; 9 – bolt; 10 – collar; 11 – boot of the external CV JOINT; 12 – collar; 13 – power shaft; 14 – lock ring; 15 – asterisk of the tripoidny hinge; 16 – lock ring; 17 – a bolt with an internal polyhedron; 18 – hinge element

Components of the pro-minted tripoidny AAR 2600i or 3300i hinge are shown in fig. 3.118.

Lubricant of a shaft of the tripoidny hinge

NOTE
When replacing a boot anew grease the hinge.

Compression of a collar on the internal hinge

Fig. 3.119. Compression of a collar on the internal hinge

Boots of hinges from rubber stretch by means of pincers for installation of collars (fig. 3.119).

Nozzle of the external CV JOINT
Clamp a power shaft in a vice with soft inserts.
Remove a big collar and turn out a protective cover of the hinge back.

Fig. 3.120. Knocking-out of an internal ring of the CV JOINT

Beat with the hammer through a copper or brass drift an internal ring of the CV JOINT (fig. 3.120).

Ventilation of a boot of the hinge
At installation of a protective cover of the hinge in it the lowered pressure can be formed.
At the movement it causes formation of a fold.

Fig. 3.121. Alignment of pressure at installation of a protective cover of the hinge

For prevention of it, it is necessary to level pressure before putting on of a collar, having raised a protective cover of the hinge (fig. 3.121).

Fig. 3.122. The provision of an expansion ring and dish-shaped spring (from a wheel): 1 – lock ring; 2 – dish-shaped spring; 3 – expansion ring (plastic)

NOTE
The management treats only collars from stainless steel.

Compression of a collar on the external hinge

Fig. 3.123. Compression of a collar on the external hinge

Establish pincers of V.A.G 1682, as shown in the figure 3.123. At the same time it is necessary to watch that blooming edges of pincers adjoined to the ledge basis B collars.
Press out a collar, having turned the running screw a dynamometer key (without turning pincers).
Inhaling moment: 20 N · m.
Use a dynamometer key with a range of regulation of 5-50 N · m (for example a dynamometer key).
You watch that the running screw of pincers moved without jammings. If necessary put a small amount of MOS 2 lubricant.
At the complicated rotation, for example, owing to pollution of a carving, at the specified moment of an inhaling the necessary effort of compression of a collar is not reached.
