6.2.1. The amplifier of the brake drive of tandem type / the main brake cylinder in cars with the left wheel
|
Fig. 6.11. Components of the amplifier of the brake drive of tandem type: 1 – vacuum hose; 2 – a bolt with the cylindrical end, 8 N · m; 3 – a tank for brake fluid with the float-operated indicator; 4 – cover; 5 – sealing stopper; 6 – amplifier of the brake drive; 7 – pedal block; 8 – the giving hose; 9 – forward wall; 10 – screw, 25 N · m; 11 – a nut with a fillet, 50 N · m; 12 – main brake cylinder; 13 – brake pipeline, 15 N · m; 14 – manzhetny consolidation
|
NOTE
The main brake cylinders – non-demountable, i.e. their repair is not provided
Use only new brake fluid. Observe the instructions given on packing with brake fluid.
|
Adjustment of a spherical head
Adjust a spherical head:
a – 159 mm ±0,5 mm.
|
Fig. 6.12. Scheme of adjustment of a spherical head
|
NOTE
The relative plane 1 is intended for the nominal size (fig. 6.12).
|
At measurement the spherical head has to be exposed perpendicularly to the plane of the amplifier of the brake drive.
Measure distance without laying until the end of a spherical head.
The moment of an inhaling of a spherical head on the amplifier of the brake drive of 30 N · m.
Removal and installation of the main brake cylinder with the amplifier of the brake drive
Removal of the brake cylinder will require a repair kit of caps of 1H0 698 311 A (fig. 6.13).
Removal
Remove a ware compartment from the driver.

1 turn the switch of a stoplight on 45 ° to the left and take (fig. 6.14).
|
Fig. 6.15. Connection of a pedal of a brake and amplifier of the brake drive
|
Disconnect a brake pedal from the amplifier of the brake drive by means of a stripper (fig. 6.15).
Pump out brake fluid by means of a set of the equipment, the unit for pumping of the brake system or the unit for pumping of the brake system.
Uncover the water taking away box.
Lay enough not leaving fibers of rags in the field of the water taking away box.
Open a tank with brake fluid.

Fig. 6.17. Fixing bolt of capacity of brake fluid
|
Unscrew a fixing bolt of 1 capacity of brake fluid (fig. 6.17).
NOTE
Take measures for protection of the water taking away box against the following brake fluid.
|
Capacity of brake fluid fastens on latches to the lower party on the main brake cylinder.
For removal wring out clamps on capacity down and at the same time take the capacity of brake fluid from a cap.
Remove and put aside a tank for brake fluid.
Turn off pipelines of the brake system 1 and 2 and close caps from a remkomplekt of ET. – No. 1H0 698 311 A (fig. 6.18).
Lay enough not leaving fibers of rags to the area of the control unit of a hydraulic system.

|
Turn off pipelines of the brake system 1 and 2 and take together with a rubber nozzle (fig. 6.19).
|
Fig. 6.20. Fastening of the amplifier of the brake drive
|
Unscrew fixing bolts of the amplifier of the brake drive 1 (Torx T45) (fig. 6.20).
Remove the amplifier of the brake drive with the main brake cylinder.
On the cars having a cross-piece it needs to be removed.
|
Fig. 6.21. Fastening of the main brake cylinder
|
Turn off fixing nuts of the main brake cylinder 1 (fig. 6.21).
Carefully remove the main brake cylinder from the amplifier of the brake drive.
Installation
At installation especially it is necessary to observe the following.
Before installation of the amplifier of the brake drive clear the water taking away box of the remained flowed-out brake fluid.
At assembly of the main brake cylinder with the amplifier of the brake drive you watch correctness of landing of a press bar on the main brake cylinder.
Adjust the stoplight switch.
Remove air from the brake system.
