6.1.6. Check at high and with a low pressure

Before work check tightness of the brake system (the main brake cylinder, brake hoses, pipelines of the brake system and brake supports).

Check with a high pressure

Fig. 6.10. The device for check of pressure in the brake system

Unscrew the flowing union on one of forward brake supports. Connect the manometer of a tester of brake systems and pump over (fig. 6.10).
Start the engine.
Install the device for pressing of a pedal of a brake between a pedal of a brake and the driver's seat. Create pressure upon brake pedals that the manometer showed the excessive pressure of 50 bars.
Switch off the engine.
During control time 45 about pressure drop has to be no more than 4 bars.
If pressure drop is more than 4 bars, check the brake system for tightness and restore it.

NOTE
An inspection with a low pressure is allowed to be carried out only if check with a high pressure took place successfully.

Check with a low pressure
Install the device for pressing of a pedal of a brake so that the manometer showed 6 bars of excessive pressure.
Within 3 minutes of control time pressure drop has to be no more than 1 bar.
At bigger pressure drop it is necessary to replace the hydraulic block.

6.1.5. Check of thickness of brake slips

6.1.7. Check of residual pressure
