4.2.4. Check of the removed shock-absorber

Defective shock-absorbers prove in the movement loud foreign knocks (as a result of the wheel course), and, in particular, on the bad road. Especially it is noticeable at strong leak of oil.

NOTE Shock-absorbers are unattended details, having added oils is impossible.

The removed shock-absorber preveryatsya manually as follows.

Manually squeeze the shock-absorber.

The rod has to move on all length of the course evenly hard and without breakthroughs

Release a rod.

On shock-absorbers with the sufficient pressure of gas the rod independently leaves in a starting position.

NOTE If it does not occur, it is not obligatory to change the shock-absorber. While there is no big leak of oil, the principle of action corresponds to operation of the ordinary shock-absorber. Shock-absorbing action completely remains also without gas pressure while there is no big loss of oil. However noisiness can be raised.
