3.1.1. Check of functioning of the main and working cylinders of coupling

NOTE
Before replacement of the main / working cylinder in case of following malfunctions at first execute the corresponding checks.

Noise at coupling operation
At first check spring knot or the sensor of a pedal of coupling for existence of noise.
In the presence of noise – remove spring knot and repeat check.

Coupling pedal at installation it is necessary to lie on a floor (do not press a coupling pedal) or does not come back to a starting position
Check whether completely the pedal of coupling comes back to rest position, and whether, respectively, the air vent in the main cylinder is released.
Only if the air vent is not hammered – there is an independent constant removal of air from the hydraulic drive of coupling.
The jammed space covering for the legs / rugs blocking coupling pedal sensors, and also the malfunctions connected with long constant pressing a coupling pedal can wag considerably on ability of independent pumping of coupling.
Check all hydraulics for existence of internal leaks.
Check the level of brake fluid in a tank.
Visually check working and main cylinders, tubes and hoses with places of connections for existence of external leaks.
At detection of leaks replace the corresponding detail.
Remove air from coupling knot.

Big effort to pedals
Wear of a clutch plate (except SAC coupling).
Mechanical defect of a press disk / clutch plate.

Efforts to pedals
Standard coupling: (a new overlay of coupling) – about 115 N.
Overlay of coupling on limit of wear – about 160 N
SAC coupling: apprx. 140 N for all the time of work of coupling.
Coupling is not disconnected or disconnected by incompleteness
Air in hydraulic system. In this case pumping coupling / check of hydraulics on existence external and внутренниз leaks is necessary.

Malfunction of the needle bearing in a flywheel (the aligning bearing of a main shaft). Replace the needle bearing.
