1.4.7. Means of passive safety

Before a start of motion be surely fastened by seat belts

Establish correctly front seat and a head restraint and only then fasten a belt.

Undertake a belt fastener, smoothly extend a tape, to impose it over a breast and a belt.

Insert a fastener into a nest of the corresponding lock before the heard click (fig. 1.128).

Surely pull for a belt and be convinced that the lock is locked.

Each belt with three-point fastening is completed with the mechanism of automatic retraction of a belt. Automatic equipment of retraction of a belt provides tsr its smooth tension full freedom of movement. However at sharp braking it blocks a belt. Automatic equipment blocks belts also at dispersal of the car, at movement along mountain roads and on turns.

Adjustment of height of a belt gives возмоэюностъ installations on growth of the diagonal film of seat belts in shoulders.

Displace up or down a cursor with a reverse buckle that the diagonal tape appeared approximately at the level of the middle of a shoulder, but did not cover a neck (fig. 1.129) at all.

After adjustment pull a belt to be convinced of reliability of fixing of a buckle.

NOTE For regulation of tapes of belts of front seats it is possible to use a possibility of change of height of seats also.

The belt comes unfastened pressing of the red button of the lock.

Press the red button of the lock (fig. 1.130). At the same time the fastener is pushed out from a nest under the influence of a spring.

For simplification of operation of automatic equipment of retraction of belts take away a fastener a hand back.

For fastening of a children's seat long blocking of belts with three-point fastening is possible.

For fastening of the children's seat established on a seat of the forward passenger or back seats long blocking of belts with three-point fastening is possible. Such blocking of a belt provides strong fastening of a children's seat in the car.

ATTENTION At the included safety cushion of the forward passenger on his place do not establish at all a children's seat on which the child sits a back in the direction of travel. There is a danger of receiving a severe or fatal injury by the child at disclosure of a pillow
