1.2.9. The car with universal remote radio control of "HomeLink"

Universal remote radio control of "HomeLink" can be programmed portable transmitters of already programmed devices.

Universal remote radio control of "HomeLink" gives the convenient chance, without going out of the car, to use various devices, for example, garage gate, security systems, lighting of the house, etc.

Universal remote radio control of "HomeLink" allows to replace three various portable transmitters of the corresponding devices with one (universal remote radio control). Mechanisms of garage and external gate most often belong to such devices. Programming of portable transmitters on the user remote radio control is carried out by the control unit located near a front bumper on the right.

For a possibility of control of various devices by means of universal remote radio control of "HomeLink" it is necessary to program the corresponding transmitter previously. If after the first programming of the device do not function, then these devices should be checked for existence of a changeable code

ATTENTION When programming universal remote radio control of "HomeLink" be convinced of absence in a direct environment of people or objects. Inadvertent inclusion in the course of programming of the mechanism of gate is fraught under certain circumstances with jamming and by that traumatizing or causing damage to property.

Programming of universal remote radio control of "HomeLink" is carried out by the keys located in a sun-protection peak of the driver, and also the operated transmitter from a front bumper.

Press both extreme keys of universal remote control of "HomeLink" (fig. 1.24) the light-emitting diode will not begin to blink yet (approximately through 20 c). Thereby there is a removal of all data which are saved up in memory of system.

Press the HomeLink key which needs to be programmed.

Hold a key of pressed and wait until the light-emitting diode begins to blink. After that the five-minute stage of programming of the HomeLink module begins. The slow blinking after a key otpuskaniye testifies to it.

Go out of the car and become before it with the original portable transmitter of the drive of garage gate or other device on which the HomeLink key is programmed.

Hold the original portable transmitter of the device which is subject to programming at a distance of about 0-30 cm under the right forward headlight at a car bumper.

Press a key of turning on of the original portable transmitter.

At the included function of the portable transmitter watch indexes of turn of the car. The positive result of programming of "HomeLink" is confirmed by a triple blinking of system of the alarm light system.

In the absence of a triple blinking of lamps repeat process of programming on other removal from a bumper.

The necessary distance between the portable transmitter and the HomeLink module located in a bumper is defined by the device which needs to be programmed. Perhaps programming will require several attempts.

Excess of a five-minute stage of programming is confirmed by a single blinking of system of the alarm light system. In this case it is necessary to repeat programming. For this purpose repeat process of programming from a sun-protection peak.

When programming two other keys be guided by the above-stated description.

If after positive programming, nevertheless, the HomeLink keys did not possible to open garage gate or other devices, then there is a probability of functioning of concrete system with a changeable code. In this case additional programming of a changeable code is necessary

Some devices demand additional programming of a changeable code of universal remote radio control of "HomeLink".

Again press and hold pressed the HomeLink key which was already programmed earlier.

Watch a light-emitting diode of "HomeLink". If the diode quickly blinks in the beginning, and through 2 with burns continuously, then it means existence of a changeable code of the corresponding device, for example, devices for opening of garage gate.

Inclusion of function of the mechanism of the electric motor of the device for opening of garage gate

Find a key of setup of the mechanism of the electric motor of the device for opening of garage gate. The exact location and color of a key depends on brand of the manufacturer of the device.

Press a key of setup of the mechanism of the electric motor of the device for opening of garage gate (at the same time the light-emitting diode of "setup" of the mechanism of the electric motor, as a rule, burns). Now at your disposal about 30 with for implementation of programming of the HomeLink key located in a sun-protection peak.

Again press and release the HomeLink key which was already programmed earlier.

For completion of programming of a changeable code press the HomeLink key again.

After programming by a key of a sun-protection peak the device for opening of garage gate has to distinguish a signal of "HomeLink" and open gate after pressing of the HomeLink key. If necessary now it is possible to program other keys.

NOTE In the presence of the assistant process of programming of a changeable code can be simplified and accelerated. For completion of process of setup of some devices for opening of garage gate it is necessary to press the third time the HomeLink key. In case of difficulties of programming of a changeable code studying of the operation manual on the device for opening of garage gate or other device perhaps will help.

Use of the programmed devices is carried out by the HomeLink keys located in a sun-protection peak of the driver.

Include ignition.

Press the programmed HomeLink key. There is a control of the device programmed on this key (for example, the device for opening of garage gate).

During a manipulation the light-emitting diode of "HomeLink" burns with command keys.

Both extreme command keys it is possible to carry out dumping of all programmed data of "HomeLink".

For this purpose include ignition.

Press both extreme keys, the light-emitting diode will not begin to blink yet.

Release keys.

After dumping of data of programming of keys of universal remote radio control of "HomeLink" the device is in the mode of control again and is ready to new programming.

NOTE Separate dumping of the programmed keys is impossible. For the reasons of safety it is recommended to carry out dumping of the programmed HomeLink keys before sale of the car.

There is a possibility of reprogramming of one HomeLink key without change of the programmed provisions of other keys.

Press the urgent HomeLink key, slowly the light-emitting diode will not begin to blink yet.

Hold the original portable transmitter of the drive of garage gate or other device at a distance of about 0-30 cm under the right forward headlight at a car bumper. The necessary distance is defined by the device which needs to be programmed.

Press a key of turning on of the original portable transmitter of the device for opening of garage gate or other device.

In the absence of a triple blinking of lamps repeat process of programming on other removal from a bumper.

After a triple blinking of the alarm light system there is a dumping of earlier programmed data of "HomeLink" and the new device is programmed. For use of the new device press the programmed HomeLink key.

NOTE Programming perhaps will require several attempts. Duration of process of each stage of control has to make at least 15 pages. Only after that it is possible to pass to other stage. Watch at the same time lamps of indexes of turn.
