2.4.2. Removal and installation of the module of balancer shafts with the oil pump

Remove the oil pallet.

ATTENTION It is allowed to scroll the engine only for the crankshaft in the direction of rotation (clockwise).

NOTE For a provorachivaniye of the engine install the central bolt on the crankshaft.

Put a cam-shaft gear wheel, having scrolled the crankshaft, on mark VMT (fig. 2.103). The mark in a gear wheel of a cam-shaft has to coincide with an arrow on the protection cover of a gear belt.

Remove the protection cover of a chain. If necessary unblock the fixing ledges through openings the small screw-driver (fig. 2.195).

Turn off the screw of an asterisk of a chain of the oil pump. Hold for the central bolt of a damper of tortional fluctuations (fig. 2.196).

Weaken a level of a natyazhitel the screw-driver and record it by means of a face key 1, the size of a key of 3 mm (fig. 2.197).

Remove an asterisk of a chain of the oil pump and remove a chain from the drive of balancer shafts (fig. 2.198).

Remove an uspokoitel, having turned off bolts of 1 and 2 (fig. 2.199).

Weaken bolts of the module of balancer shafts, passing outside inside, and remove the module (fig. 2.200).

Natyazhitel of a chain has to be tense.

Replace all bolts of fastening of the module of the balancer shaft.

Replace a sealing ring of a bolt of the module of balancer shafts.

Get a pro-rate on centering plugs of the drive of balancer shafts, as shown in the figure 2.201.

Install the module of balancer shafts with the oil pump and a pro-rate. Tighten fastening bolts, passing from within outside (fig. 2.200).

NOTE Pay attention to various length of bolts.

NOTE Pay attention to centering plugs.

The 1st Step – by hand

The 2nd Step – 15 N · m *

The 3rd Step – to hold on on 90 ° **

Establish an uspokoitel for what insert into the module of balancer shafts of a pin and tighten bolts 1 moment of 21 N · m and bolts the 2nd moment of 9 N · m (fig. 2.199).

NOTE For a provorachivaniye of the engine install the central bolt on the crankshaft.

Turn the engine in the provision of VMT of the cylinder 1 for what turn a bent shaft for the central bolt of its belt pulley (under a gear belt) in the working direction of rotation. Marking on a gear wheel of a cam-shaft and marking on the crankshaft have to stand on mark VMT of the cylinder 1 (fig. 2.103).

Combine a mark in an asterisk of a chain of the balancer shaft with an opening for fixing. Record an asterisk in this situation a clamp. Put on a chain an asterisk of the balancer shaft (fig. 2.202).

Establish an asterisk of the oil pump with a new bolt and tighten the screw manually.

NOTE The asterisk of a chain of the oil pump can be established only in one situation. For installation it is allowed to scroll only the oil pump.

Remove a clamp and a face key 1. Fix an asterisk of a chain of the oil pump (fig. 2.197). Hold it is possible for the central bolt of a damper of tortional fluctuations.

Further installation and assembly is carried out in the return to sequence removal.

Install the oil pallet.

Pull the piston a hand (fig. 2.204).

Press a level of a natyazhitel in the direction of an arrow and stop it a face key, solution of a key of 3 mm.
